Dr. Jaw-Kang Chang
CO-FOUNDER & LEAD CHEMISTDr. Chang completed his first peptide synthesis in 1969 — the thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH), one of the earliest documented peptide syntheses by an independent chemist. Twenty-five years later, in 1994, he founded Phoenix Pharmaceuticals to make research-grade synthetic peptides directly available to the scientific community.
Today, Dr. Chang still leads peptide chemistry at the company.
